Hi, I’m Ivan Lozano, but you already knew that.

I’m perhaps best known as the owner and Chief Editor of Dark Diamond, a blog about Video Games, Anime and Japan. Since I started this project in 2006 it has taught me invaluable lessons in blogging, writing, marketing, leadership, advertising, site design and, most importantly , it has taught me humility for the wonderful support both readers and teammates have given me.

I also worked as a Junior Analyst for a year with Almanza, Rosette & Asociados, a business consulting firm based in Baja California, Mexico. During my time with AR&A I learned about business planning, operational auditing, organizational development, corporate identity and business philosophy.

Most recently though, I’ve been an intern at Newell-Rubbermaid’s MMC in a university sponsored internship. Working in the Operational Excellence (OPEX) where we strive for continuous improvement and best business practices. Working around such a talented team of engineers has been one of the most challenging and enriching experiences of my career. 

I will be graduating from the Business Administration program at the Universidad Autonoma de Baja California this winter.

In this blog, Ivanismo, I write on the pursuit of a better world by better business and better living. I’m not a seasoned expert just yet, which makes this journey much more interesting for both you and I. I will make many and more interesting mistakes, and you will be there to share them with me.
